A conference entitled Urban Archeology and data was held in Vienna

An international conference entitled "Urban Archeology and data" was organized by the Museum of the City of Vienna - Urban archaeology (Museums der Stadt Wien - Stadtarchäologie) from 16th to 19th November 2016 at the City hall in Vienna. Over a hundred presentations were held and hundreds of experts joined. Among other, there was a special session "Photogrammetry in Underwater and Aerial archeology", which was chaired by Marco Block Berlitz, Roman Scholz and Luka Bekić.

“Blackbeard the Pirate and his lost ship: the Queen Anne’s Revenge”

In the classroom of ICUA Zadar, on Friday, 7 October, at 17h, a public lecture titled "Pirate Blackbeard and his lost ship Queen Anne's Revenge" was held. Blackbeard is perhaps the most famous pirate in history. His flagship, the Queen Anne’s Revenge, sank off the coast of North Carolina in 1718, and was discovered by SCUBA divers in 1996.
